When requested this department will pick up, all obsolete furniture and equipment. The pickup form link can be found on this site. Equipment, furniture, or material removed from facilities is assessed as to condition and handled in one of three ways:
- If unusable – items are disposed of or recycled.
- If useable – items are warehoused at Farmington Warehouse for reassignment.
- If unneeded by the District- will be sold at public auction.
For all pickups, gather materials in a first floor location. Exceptions would be second floor Media Centers, or Computer Labs.
Auctions take place at the Surplus Warehouse 358 Farmington Ave. The exact time and date of an auction will be listed in the Monday Memo.
Another service provided is the temporary use of folding tables and chairs for special events. Call well in advance for reservation because supply is limited. Please call Tammy Williams with any questions on this page @3157.
