Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council

The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC) comprises students from various high schools across the JCPS District. The purpose of the group is to provide the superintendent and senior staff members with feedback on ways that the district could improve students’ overall experience.

The current redesign of the council, renamed LIFT JCPS SSAC, aims to make the council a student-led, solutions-focused, project-based learning organization.

Mission: LIFT JCPS SSAC will use Project-Based Learning (PBL) to promote student leadership and self-discovery, connect them to their communities through service and philanthropy, and cyclically transition into mentors for younger students.

SSAC members will be selected during the month of September.
