A Public Hearing to receive comments on the amendment to the current District Facility Plan on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, 5:31p.m., at the C. B. Young, Jr. Service Center, Operations Conference Room, 3001 Crittenden Drive, Louisville, KY 40209. The Jefferson County Public Schools District Facilities Plan lists the capital construction and/or renovation projects that the school district may undertake.
Copies of the proposed plan will be available for examination by interested individuals at the above address, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Questions may be directed to Chris Perkins, Chief Operations Officer, at (502) 485-7657. Those individuals wishing to comment on the proposed plan may present oral or written comments at the Public Hearing.
The local Board of Education, after due process, will forward the Amended District Facility Plan to the Kentucky Department of Education for ultimate approval by the Kentucky Board of Education. The Public Hearing is scheduled in accordance with KRS 157.620 and regulated by 702 KAR 4:180.
