The Chair of the Board of Education is calling two special meetings of the Board of Education to be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Central High School, 1130 West Chestnut Street, Louisville, Kentucky.
The purpose of these meetings is as follows:
4:30 p.m. Tax Rate Hearing: This hearing will be held pursuant to the provisions of KRS 160.470 for the purpose of hearing public comments regarding a proposed 2021-22 General Fund tax levy of 79.6 cents on real property and 79.6 cents on personal property.
6:00 p.m. Business Meeting: The Business meeting of the Board of Education will be held at 6:00 p.m. as scheduled. The agenda is attached.
These meetings will be conducted via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.823 and KRS 61.826. The primary location for these meetings and where all members can be seen and heard by the public will be Central High School. Members of the Board are permitted to attend in-person or via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.826. Members of the public are permitted to attend in-person or watch the live-stream of the meeting via the following link: JCBE MEETING VIDEO.
