GED Working!

GED Working! is a partnership program with employers who want to help students who are interested in earning a General Educational Development (GED) credential while working part-time.

UPS provides transportation for students from GED class to the UPS facility. Students at or near the intermediate level and above who have at least one session of GED classes completed with excellent attendance and conduct are eligible for this opportunity.

Securitas is hiring students who are close to earning the GED credential. Participating students must earn the credential within six months of their hire date. EXPRESS-level students who have at least one session of GED classes completed with excellent attendance and conduct are eligible for this opportunity.

Cardinal Aluminum, located at 6910 Preston Highway, is a manufacturing company providing GED students with part-time hours of employment that will not interfere with class hours.
