Scope of Responsibilities
Coordinates information security initiatives with vendors and auditors district-wide. Monitors information security risks and enhances the district’s cybersecurity posture by implementing, testing, and managing information security best practices. Coordinates Districtwide Geographic Information System (GIS) efforts; develops long-term plan to include all necessary departments including Facilities, Transportation, Demographics, Student Assignment, Research, and Planning; develops specific web applications as needed for administrators, parents, and the general public; creates internship opportunities for students in Geographic Information System Career Pathway; and identifies additional opportunities for Geographic Information System implementation and cost-savings.Scope of Responsibilities
Assumes responsibilities for directing and supervising the preparation of architectural plans and specifications for new and existing buildings; assists with the District’s KETS program; conducts site visits and attends progress meetings to coordinate the architectural requirements for all assigned construction projects insuring that they meet or exceed all regulations; and assists other entities within JCPS with architectural expertise.
