Scope of Responsibilities

The Lead Psychologist shall direct the operations and services of ECE Assessment and the delivery of services for students’ emotional, behavioral and learning needs; assist in the integration of special education services with the general education curriculum; and provide expertise to administrators on student and personnel issues. Ensures compliance with IDEA, KAR for Exceptional Children, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as related to finding, identifying, and supporting all children with disabilities.

Assists the supervisor in planning, organizing and coordinating assigned maintenance activities. Performs maintenance of all steam, hot and chilled water piping, re-tubing boilers, steam kettles and variable pitch fans for all cost centers in the school District.

Primary technician responsible for Preventative Maintenance on building and equipment at the nutrition service center. Assist in installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial food production, handling, storage, packaging and related equipment, appliances, and building systems. Coordinates with Lead Tech on ordering and maintaining stock of items necessary for preventative maintenance, repairs, priorities and processes.

Responds to the mechanical needs for vehicular preventive maintenance and breakdown repair. Must be capable of participating in a continuing educational development program in upgrading technical skills. Trains other mechanics and works as lead mechanic.

Manages SCNS human capital in coordination with SCNS site-based management, JCPS Human Resources, and SCNS administrators including recruitment, requisitioning positions, setting up interviews, completing recommendations for hire and SCNS onboarding of new employees. Manages and completes SCNS site-based employee evaluation processes and handles due process and discipline.
