Assumes responsibility for the selection, administration, coordination, implementation and supervision of benefits programs offered to JCPS employees including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness programs, flexible spending accounts, supplemental retirement plan options, and other ancillary benefits. Oversee the workers compensation program, Leave Center, and disability accommodations for the District. Remain current on industry trends, regulations and legislation to assure programs are in compliance including Health Care Reform.

Works closely with Director of Student Learning and Extended Programs on projects that involve internal and external/community partners. Plans, organizes, and executes programs and projects related to Extended Learning. Provides instructional support to school-based Extended School Services Coordinators and administrators; assists in ESS planning, implementation, evaluation and monitoring; assists in planning, developing, implementing inservice for school based personnel.

The Manager of HR Quality Control assists the Chief of HR to provide high quality human resources interaction and efficiency for all staff and potential candidates. The Manager of HR Quality Control knows all aspects of the Human Resource Department and measures the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.

Assumes responsibility for all payroll processing functions to ensure accuracy and timely completion of the District’s payroll and compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as District policies, and procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.

aspects of the school safety administrator position. Works to foster positive school culture and climate; to build
relationships of trust with students and employees, and to maintain positive relationships with school

The Manager classification is limited to one staff member per funded agency (i.e., Board of Education, community college, etc.).
