Program Evaluation

The mission of the JCPS Planning and Program Evaluation Unit is to support a culture of continuous improvement. We strive to focus our work on initiatives that support student learning and align with the JCPS strategic plan by:

  • Providing support to school and district leaders in their comprehensive planning and improvement efforts.
  • Designing and conducting program evaluations that provide formative and summative information to school and district leaders on major district initiatives and grant-funded programs.
  • Supporting strategic and cost-effective decision making.
  • Facilitating systemic change through the provision and use of research-based practices, data analysis, and communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
