A long time educator has been named the new principal at Farnsley Middle School. Carolyn Smith has been selected by the Farnsley SBDM and interview committee to be the new principal of the school.

Smith’s goals as Farnsley’s new principal are to recognize the established culture and climate; identify opportunities of growth; collaborate with stakeholders in establishing a plan for improvement and executing the plan to create an environment of equity and strength.

“We are excited to have Carolyn Smith join the Farnsley family” said Dr. Marty Pollio, JCPS Superintendent. “We look forward to her sharing all of her knowledge, success with academic achievement and culture with the students and families at Farnsley.”
