More than 2,500 educators from JCPS and across KY to attend
June 10, 2019—More than 2,500 educators from Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) as well as school districts across Kentucky will convene at the Kentucky Exposition Center over the next three days for the third annual JCPS Deeper Learning Symposium—a powerful summer conference created by JCPS and focused on innovative ideas in education.
The JCPS Deeper Learning Symposium, held June 11-13, will feature nationally prominent keynote speakers as well as a number of JCPS educators. The theme of this year’s symposium is Know Equity, Know Excellence. JCPS Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio will welcome attendees at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the South Hall. The sessions are open to members of the media.
