Jennifer Reker named principal at Waller Williams and Riverview

Waller Williams and Riverview share a campus and serve about 150 students in grades K-12.

Jennifer Reker will be moving from one office to another at Waller Williams and Riverview schools this fall. Reker, the current interim assistant principal at Waller Williams and Riverview, has been named the new principal of the schools.

Jefferson County Schools Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio cited Reker’s wide range of experience, from teacher to assistant principal, in announcing her appointment.

“I’m confident Jennifer Reker is the right person to lead Waller Williams/Riverview” Pollio said.

Reker has served as an exceptional child education (ECE) teacher, supervisor of ECE implementation, emotional behavior disorder (EBD) resource teacher, ECE district consulting teacher, interim middle school assistant principal and, most recently as the interim assistant principal at Waller Williams and Riverview.

“Ms. Reker is a collaborative leader committed to improving outcomes for students academically, socially, and emotionally” said Brad Weston, JCPS Assistant Superintendent, Elementary Schools Zone 1.
