Registration and Application Period Runs Through Dec. 16th

Families can explore school options for the 2021-2022 school year

December 14, 2020 – The Jefferson County Public School (JCPS) registration and application period for the 2021-22 school year continues through Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020All applications submitted through this date receive equal consideration.  This year families had an opportunity to explore their JCPS School Choice options virtually with a series of online open houses for elementary, middle and high schools.

"For years, JCPS has provided a variety of programs for our families to meet the needs and interests of our students," said Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio. "I am proud of the innovative approach taken across our district to continue to connect families with important information about our schools."

The virtual open houses are still available online for families to review. Families are encouraged to use these resources for exploring school choice options:

  • Use School Finder to identify your resides school. 
  • Determine if you need to register and/or apply for school, and find out how
  • Review the interactive elementary, middle, and high school Choices guides
  • Review school websites and social media pages. 

If families need assistance with completing the registration or application process, they may consider making an appointment at the JCPS 360° Student and Family Support Center at Humana.
