Registration now open for JCPS spring break camps

Camps give students opportunities to learn chess, karate and robotics

Third through fifth graders in Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) will have an opportunity over spring break to learn fun and challenging activities while strengthening their reading skills during the district’s “Literacy &” camps.

The free camps, which are developed and coordinated by the JCPS Office of Diversity, Equity and Poverty (DEP) Programs, combine reading with character-building activities such as chess, karate and robotics. Registration is now underway at each of the locations listed below.

The camps will be held from April 1 to April 5. Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families may call (502) 485-6331 or email for registration information.
