Registration Now Open for JCPS Summer Camps

Camps give students opportunities to learn photography, robotics and more

Incoming third through fifth graders in Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) will have an opportunity over summer break to learn fun and challenging activities while strengthening their reading skills during the district’s “Literacy &” camps.

The free camps, which are developed and coordinated by the JCPS Office of Diversity, Equity and Poverty (DEP) Programs, combine reading with character-building activities such as chess, fencing, karate, hip hop, photography, robotics and yoga. Registration is now underway and space is available for up to 30 students at each of the locations listed below.

The camps will be held from June 5 to June 14 as well as June 18 to June 28. Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families may click here or call (502) 485-3631 for registration information.
