Series of Back-to-School Events Planned for Students

Students have opportunity to receive free school and health supplies

Students across the Jefferson County Public School (JCPS) District will have an opportunity to receive free school and health supplies at more than a dozen back-to-school events scheduled throughout July and early August. The events are sponsored by JCPS and various community partners, including Neighborhood Place and the Louisville Metro Department of Community Services.

All of the back-to-school events are free and open to the public. Students must be accompanied by an adult to receive supplies, and supplies are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. School supplies, information and services vary by site.
