“It’s been a fantastic seven years at Doss,” Stockwell said. “I’m proud of the students and staff at Doss. Now, I’m looking forward to this new challenge of providing a top quality education to students who are learning from home.”

Stockwell has spent his entire 23 year education career in JCPS. He served as an English teacher at Westport Middle School, a guidance counselor at Fern Creek High School, an assistant principal at Jeffersontown and Doss High Schools, and as principal of Doss.

“Todd Stockwell is a proven leader with a track record of successfully working with students and families,” said Dr. Joseph Ellison, assistant superintendent of high schools. “He has a keen mind for instruction and is passionate about students and teachers meeting the highest standards of learning and instruction.”

Stockwell said he is “committed to building Pathfinder into the state and national model for  virtual instruction.”

His first official day as principal at Pathfinder is July 25.
