Equipment Repair Shop

The Housekeeping Services Repair Shop is responsible for the following:

  • Preventative maintenance and on-site repair of district housekeeping equipment
  • Emergency water flooding pick-up and cleaning needed in emergency situations
  • Cleaning assistance, when needed, in conjunction with major construction and renovation projects
  • Annual project cleaning for district bus compounds
  • Safe provision of scaffolds and hydraulic lifts for use in maintaining lighting in gymnasiums, cafeterias, and stairwells
  • Safe provision of soot-a-matic boiler-cleaning equipment
  • Delivery of housekeeping loaner equipment

Work orders are to be submitted as needed utilizing the Work Order Management (WOM) system. For emergency assistance, call Housekeeping Services at (502) 485-6100 during normal work hours (7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). After-hour and emergency assistance can be obtained by calling the District Operations Center (DOC) at (502) 485-3121.
