The Housekeeping Services Repair Shop is responsible for the following:
- Preventative maintenance and on-site repair of district housekeeping equipment
- Emergency water flooding pick-up and cleaning needed in emergency situations
- Cleaning assistance, when needed, in conjunction with major construction and renovation projects
- Annual project cleaning for district bus compounds
- Safe provision of scaffolds and hydraulic lifts for use in maintaining lighting in gymnasiums, cafeterias, and stairwells
- Safe provision of soot-a-matic boiler-cleaning equipment
- Delivery of housekeeping loaner equipment
Work orders are to be submitted as needed utilizing the Work Order Management (WOM) system. For emergency assistance, call Housekeeping Services at (502) 485-6100 during normal work hours (7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). After-hour and emergency assistance can be obtained by calling the District Operations Center (DOC) at (502) 485-3121.
