Health Education K–12
The goal of Health Education is for our students to become health-literate with the knowledge to take responsibility for their own health, the skills to adopt health-enhancing attitudes and behaviors, and the ability to choose healthy behaviors.
Physical Education K–12
The goal of Physical Education is to develop physically literate individuals who have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity (SHAPE).
Consumerism
The goal of Consumerism is for all students to acquire the knowledge to become financially literate, the ability to solve real-life situations involving money management, and the skills to establish a foundation for a future of financial responsibility and economic independence.
Career Studies
The goal of Career Studies is to provide students with the knowledge to assess personal skills, interests, and abilities as they apply to the changing world of work; the ability to make vital connections between academics and jobs/careers; and the employability skills that impact their productivity and success in a chosen career.
