  • Resource teachers serve as liaisons between the Smoke-Free Coalition and schools.
  • Designed to address the issue of tobacco use
  • Facilitated by the Regional Prevention Center of Seven Counties Services, Inc.

Project Northland Super-Charged

Grades Nine Through Twelve

  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Model Program
  • Engages parents and community members in addressing youth alcohol issues
  • Designed to accompany the Amazing Alternatives and Powerlines Curricula
  • Facilitated through Youth Services Centers (YSCs) in middle schools

SDFS Assessment Center

Grades Nine Through Twelve

  • Offers assistance with behavior and/or drug and alcohol issues
  • Handles referrals from schools or parents because of concerns or suspension
  • Requires an appointment to be attended by the student and parent
  • Takes about an hour and a half
  • Results in options for parents
  • Shares information with school administrators
