Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) and Humana are extending their partnership to open the JCPS 360° Student & Family Support Center at Humana. The support center will be housed on the first two floors of the Waterside Building in downtown Louisville.
The JCPS 360° Student & Family Support Center at Humana services include Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) 2.0 platform and log-in help, special education assessments/screenings, school choice assistance, translation assistance, and physicals as well as social supports from the Louisville Metro Office of Resilience and Community Services.
The JCPS 360° Student & Family Support Center at Humana is available by appointment Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (subject to change) beginning October 7, 2020, through at least the end of the year. Families can make an appointment by visiting https://signup.com/go/pNsoYzt.
Staff, students, and guardians will follow all current safety protocols, including social distancing, frequent handwashing, sanitation of surfaces, temperature checks, and mask wearing. Humana employees have graciously given their workspaces to JCPS students and families, and no employees are located in the support center. Students must be accompanied by a guardian or family member while at the support center.
Parking is available in Humana’s surface parking lot at Washington and Brook Streets free of charge to families during their appointments. Families should enter the Waterside Building using the Washington Street entrance.
The support center aims to aid families as they take an active role in their child’s education, understanding that the success of students’ education often includes receiving services both directly and indirectly related to education.
