The JCPS Facility Planning/Construction Department manages construction, renovation, and remodeling projects to ensure the safest and most modern learning environments for our students.
An average of $50 to $55 million has been budgeted annually to improve the infrastructure of our schools and support facilities, and our staff members are involved throughout every project—from needs assessment through occupancy of the facilities.
All projects over $20,000 must go through the bid process to allow equal opportunity for contractors and suppliers to participate.
