Whitney Young Elementary is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children ages 3 through 12 nurtures and develops young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong learning journey. Our PYP empowers school-aged students to take ownership of their learning and helps them develop future-ready skills to make a difference and thrive in a world that changes fast. Students have the opportunity to continue their IB education at the district’s other IB magnet schools, Highland Middle School and Atherton High School.
