Frayser Elementary

The Frayser Elementary School family is committed to developing the whole child, empowering our leaders to find their genius, and ensuring high academic achievement and growth for all. Our vision is that all Frayser students will transition ready to lead academically and socially as global citizens.

School Highlights

• Implements the Leader in Me, which empowers staff, students, and families to develop personal leadership capacities through the teaching of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
• Small class size program (20 students) in first through fifth grades
• Full-time library and art, music, and Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) lab
• Implements small-group, research-based reading and math instruction to provide flexible and personalized learning opportunities for all students
• Promotes wellness, including the MindUp curriculum, and has full-time nurse and mental health practitioner
• Advance Program and English as a Second Language (ESL) Program and supports
• Activities: co-ed intramural basketball, soccer, Spirit Team, Men of Honor, Gifted G.I.R.L.S., Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP), Student Lighthouse Team, and Paw Patrol
