JCPS Food Distribution Plan During NTI 2.0

Jefferson County Public Schools is committed to providing healthy meals to students even though our school buildings will be closed when the school year begins August 25th. We have served more than two million meals to children since schools were shuttered in March and we will continue to provide meals for kids who are beginning online-only instruction from home or another location outside their school.

More changes have occurred since August 25th:

  • Beginning September 8th,all kids 18 & younger may receive meals for free.
  • Food sites will be open Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
  • The following sites will be also be open Tuesday and Thursdays from 4 p.m. -6 p.m.
    Butler, Carrithers, Eastern, Westport, Valley, Seneca, Male, Greathouse, Roosevelt Perry, and Farnsley

(Note: 1 visit to a meal site per day per family)
