"I know I could do the work, but without a diploma, I can't get the job."

"Years ago, I had to leave school so I could work to help support the family."

"At the time, I didn't see the point in school, and I thought I would get on with my life."

If you've said what these people said, you may need to do what they've done. They enrolled in Jefferson County High School, a free JCPS high school program offering adults and youth 16 years of age and older an opportunity to earn a diploma at their own pace—in a location and at a time convenient for them.

Students may enter the program any time of the year, attend classes on a flexible schedule while holding a job or attending to family responsibilities, and graduate when they have met district requirements.

Do you think this program might work for you or your student? The first step is to attend orientation and testing. All applications will be completed at the time of orientation.
