At Marion C. Moore, an Academies of Louisville school, our culture stems from our vision that Marion C. Moore will be the school where students want to be, adults want to work, and the community is proud to have their children attend.
We are the largest school in Louisville and proudly have grades six through twelve. Your child can be with us for seven years. This is a unique benefit of Moore’s combined school model. Moore is leading the way in the Academies of Louisville initiative. Moore’s Academies include Freshman Academy; Health Sciences Academy; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Academy; and Community Academy. In these Academies, we currently offer 12 career pathway choices.
At Moore, students will be able to participate in real work experiences with field trips, job shadows, internships, potential apprenticeships, and other work-based learning experiences related to their career choices, all while potentially earning college credits as they go.
Moore has 15+ business partners, and we are adding to these all the time. These partners help advise on our career choice pathways and are up to date with current demands and trends. These business partners also host many of our student involvement opportunities. We encourage you to #KNOWMOORE and follow us on Twitter and Instagram @mooremustangs and @tracimorrishunt.
