A High-Quality Program
The Child Enrichment Program (CEP) offers before- and after-school care to all JCPS students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Bus transportation is available for most students between their school and a CEP site.
We pride ourselves on providing a safe environment where your child can participate in fun activities that enrich, strengthen, and expand his or her learning. The activities focus on literacy, the arts and humanities, recreation, science and technology, academic support, fitness, character development, and asset building.
Our goal is to help your child build a healthy spirit, mind, and body.
Our outstanding staff members receive extensive hours of professional-development (PD) training that exceeds state-licensing requirements. All staff are CPR- and first aid-certified, and we meet or exceed state staff-to-child ratios.
Regular program hours are from 7 a.m. to the start of your child's school day and from the close of school to 6 p.m.
Continuous care is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at select locations when school is not in session. Spring Break, Winter Break, and summer programs require separate registration. Site locations may vary due to consolidation, and transportation to and from the CEP site is the responsibility of the parent.
In addition to planned activities and programs, each child receives healthy morning and afternoon snacks. Breakfast is served for children in the before-school program.
Online registration at ymcalouisvillechildcare.org is open all school year and all sites have minimum and maximum enrollment numbers. Please register online at least two business days prior to your child's start date.
Malled registration forms should be sent to the address below and post-marked one week prior to start date.

In-service and snow day only rate is $!14 per day, per child.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If for any reason you are unable to attend a week for Which you are registered, please notify our office one week before the start of the session in order to stop the upcoming
draft payment. If you do not contact our office in advance, no refund or credit will be available. If your child attends a different session than what you registered for, you will be charged an overage on your next draft.
The Vis for everyone and we offer income-based financial assistance. We also accept 3-C and other third-party subsidy reimbursements. Valid contracts must be on file with our office prior to the first day of attendance. V financial assistance may not be available in combination with other child care subsidies.
Payments can be made by bank or credit card draft. Automatic draft payments must be set up prior to the first day of attendance. Drafts will occur each Wednesday for the current week, unless otherwise scheduled through our main office.
