Academic Support

Parents are encouraged to contact the school counselor if they have any questions or concerns about their child’s academic progress (e.g., report cards, grading periods, assignments, Honor Roll, coursework, class schedules). School counselors recognize that each student possesses unique interests, abilities, and goals, which will lead to future opportunities. Collaborating with students, families, educational staff, and the community, the school counselor works to ensure that all students develop an academic and career plan that reflects their interests, abilities, and goals and that includes rigorous, relevant coursework and experiences appropriate for the student. School counselors are available to meet with students, parents, and guardians to discuss any academic support needs.
