Our teams have worked hard to ensure our facilities and transportation routes are ready, and we’re excited to have students and staff back in our buildings.

Check out Bloom's NTI links, which includes the NTI schedule and more: CLICK HERE.
Due to today’s inclement weather and hazardous road conditions throughout the county, we have made the decision to use a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day for students and staff.
All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled. If there are any changes to YMCA CEP, families will be notified by CEP.

Applications are open now through Dec. 19.

Bloom staff is busy prepping for the possibility of NTI this school year so that if/when JCPS gives the order to enter into NTI mode the Bloom Village will be ready to go. We created a "Short Term NTI Plan," following KDE and JCPS guidance. Bloom's NTI plan is linked below for you to review now. And we will share this link and other supporting information each time NTI is called for JCPS in the future. For now, just review our NTI plan! And thank you to all the families who completed the NTI Tech Form sent via text yesterday; if you've not completed the Form for each of your Bloom students, please do so today! The NTI Tech Form link can be found at the beginning of our NTI Plan below:

All JCPS schools and buildings will open and operate as normal on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025. Our crews tested the water and air quality at all of our schools and buildings today and everything came back normal. Louisville Metro Government officials have also informed us that it is safe to reopen schools. Our thoughts remain with all those affected by Tuesday’s tragic plane crash.
We appreciate your understanding as our schools and buildings are closed today while the city has implemented a necessary shelter-in-place due to last night’s tragic plane crash.
Today, our teams are checking the air and water quality at all of our schools and buildings. We are doing these checks out of an abundance of caution, as the safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
If you and your family need food assistance today, please reach out to Dare to Care Food Bank:

We know situations like what happened last night impact our students in different ways. Every JCPS school has a mental health team that is available to talk with students about how they are feeling. If your child would like support when we return to class, please reach out to their school.
As a reminder, we provide important updates via text, email, JCPS social media platforms, the JCPS app, our website, and local media.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff.

How you can help:
🥫 Drop off non-perishable food at any JCPS location.
💰 Make a monetary donation to Dare to Care at: bit.ly/4hGClRK
Your contribution is vital in supporting our students and bridging this gap for our neighbors. Thank you for your support!
