JCPS Superintendent Finalists Q&A Tuesday may 20, 2025.

Parents, teachers and all others interested in the future of Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) will get a chance to ask questions and hear from the finalists for superintendent on Tuesday, May 20. The Jefferson County Board of Education and the Superintendent Search Committee have announced two community forums - one at JCPS’ Center for Professional Learning and the second at Stopher Elementary School.

The board and search committee narrowed the number of superintendent candidates to six on April 24. Board chair Dr. Corrie Shull said the six candidates will be interviewed on May 5 and 6 with the expectation that the finalists will be announced soon after. The current superintendent, Dr. Marty Pollio, is retiring from JCPS after 28 years in the district as a teacher, coach, school principal and superintendent.
