5K Details:

Saturday, May 17, 2025 (hopefully you know this by now!)

ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME- Please note change in arrival time

By 8:45 AM Coaches Arrive - Go to your school area (your 5K bib and t-shirt will be there)

8:45 - 9:45 AM Girls will check in with the coaches at your school's area marked with a pink flag (they do not need to go to the Pre-Registration Tent)

8:45 -9:30 AM Pre-race prep (pin on 5K bibs) and fun (DJ, hair painting, photos, etc.)

9:45 AM Warm-ups

10:00 AM 5K Participants are Released to Run, Walk, Hop, or Skip along the 5K course!

WEATHER:
Who knows for sure?!! The only thing we are sure of is that the forecast will change many times until the 5K! Remind the girls that they should dress in layers so if the morning is cool but it warms up they can move to lighter weight clothing.

We will have the 5K in rain and wind...we are tougher than rain! Thunder and lightning...not so much. If there are storms, we will try to delay, but we may have to cancel. If the run is canceled, it will not be rescheduled. Please watch our Facebook Page (click here) for 5K status updates. We will also send an email out to coaches and parents/guardians the morning of the 5K if it is canceled.

COURSE
Please click here to see the course map. Runners will complete three laps plus some extra on the first lap. They will receive a plastic jelly bracelet after each lap, and when they have three bracelets, they will be instructed to proceed to the finish line.
