Please see our short term NTI plan all after school clubs, practices, games, etc. have been canceled on Wednesday and Thursday. Due to NTI, there will be no girls flag football tryouts this Thursday. As of right now tryouts will be Tuesday, February 3, from 5-7p in the 3rd floor gym.
NEW JCTMS CLUB: JCTMS is starting a new club: the Arab Student Union. If interested, or if you have questions about the club please email Ms. Faulkenberg at jessica.faulkenberg@jefferson.kyschools.us Meetings will take place on Wednesdays starting February 11th.
8th Grade Parents: JCTMS 8th graders have been selected to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) on February 4.
The National Assessment of Educational Progress, also known as The Nation’s Report Card, provides important information about student academic achievement and learning experiences in various subject areas. NAEP is the largest nationally representative and ongoing assessment of what students in public and private schools across the United States know and are able to do.
Approximately 100 8th grade students were randomly selected to participate in this assessment. Letters with additional information were sent home last week. Please ask your student if they received a letter.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact Mrs. Darden, 7th Grade Counselor and Building Assessment Coordinator, at racaiya.darden@jefferson.kyschools.us.

⌛Don’t Miss Out, Centurions!
The clock is ticking! ⌚The final day to pre-order your JCTMS yearbook is this Saturday, January 31.
Cost: $31
Link: yearbookforever.com
Pro Tip: Not sure if you’ve ordered yet? Use the "Order History" link at the bottom of the website to check.
Questions? Reach out to Mrs. Crowe at allison.crowe@jefferson.kyschools.us.
☃️Stay Cozy, Centurions!
We hope everyone is staying warm and safe at home today. Don’t forget to check off your NTI assignments so we can keep the learning going!

We’ll share an update once the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

While our crews report that most main roads are in good shape, many side streets and neighborhood roads across the county remain hazardous. Due to these lingering conditions and low temperatures, we believe transitioning to NTI is the safest choice for our students and staff.
Students should follow their school’s established NTI protocols. NTI days are recognized as standard instructional days and will not extend the school calendar.
All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for Wednesday and Thursday. If there are any changes to the YMCA CEP program, families will be notified by YMCA CEP.
Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility as we navigate these winter conditions. Please stay warm and safe.
