If you happen to miss tryouts on Oct 6th and Oct 8th due to absence, etc, there will be a Make-up Tryout Date on Tuesday, Oct 13th 2:30-5:30pm in 3rd floor gym.

JCTMS is excited to host our 1st Annual 8th Grade Future Fair on October 7, 2026! This event is designed to help prepare your student for the next level and provide them with the knowledge, resources, and tools needed for future success.

Archery Coach Needed!
Thank you for supporting your student’s interest in joining the Black Student Union. We received an overwhelming response this year, with 110 students applying for a limited number of available spots. Because of the level of interest, we unfortunately could not accept every student who applied.
Students were considered based on our established expectations and standards for BSU membership, including how they demonstrate themselves as members of our school community. However, selection was not simply a reflection of a student’s grades, behavior, or overall character. There were many strong students who were not selected simply because the number of applicants exceeded the number of available spaces.
We want students and families to know that not being selected should not be viewed as a negative judgment of the student. We will maintain a waitlist as opportunities become available, and we will also provide opportunities throughout the school year for students to collaborate with and participate in BSU initiatives.
We sincerely appreciate every student who expressed interest and every family who encouraged them to apply. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our students.
