Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) is launching a new, upgraded JCPS Reporting Hotline to make sharing confidential tips and resolving issues easier and more accessible for families and staff.
Whether you need to report a safety concern, submit a confidential tip or address an issue that could not be resolved through standard school channels, this platform provides a direct, secure line of communication.
How to access the hotline
Online: Access the platform 24/7 by visiting jcps.ethicspoint.com. You can also find a direct link at the very top of any JCPS district webpage, located right next to the red exclamation point icon.
Language Support: Online submission forms can be translated directly into the district's top non-English languages.
By Phone: Families who prefer to submit a tip over the phone or who need assistance in additional languages can call 888-393-6780.
When to use the hotline
Your child’s school principal or teachers remain the primary contact for daily questions, academic updates, and immediate classroom concerns. However, the JCPS Reporting Hotline is available whenever:
You have a confidential tip or concern regarding safety or district operations.
You have experienced an issue that has not been successfully resolved through standard school or administrative channels.
“Keeping our students safe and ensuring every family has a voice are among my highest priorities,” said JCPS Superintendent Dr. Brian Yearwood. “This upgraded hotline ensures that every member of our community has a direct, confidential and reliable way to reach us so we can continue fostering a safe and responsive environment across all of our schools.”
