2026-27 School Calendar

We are pleased to announce our second 10-week grief support session in partnership with HopeWave. This free, school-based program offers a safe space for students in grades 3-5 who have lost a loved one, allowing them to heal alongside their peers.

What to Expect
-Small Groups: Students meet in groups of 5–7 with trained mentors during the school day.
-Age-Appropriate Support: Younger students use art journals for creative expression, while older students engage in structured discussions on managing complex emotions.
-Building Tools: The program focuses on healthy coping skills and ensuring no student feels alone in their journey.
All materials are provided at no cost. Our goal is to remove barriers to support by bringing these resources directly to your child's school.

We are excited to announce that the annual Community Baby Shower will take place on January 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at McFerran Preparatory Academy, 1900 S. 7th St., Louisville, KY 40208. We are accepting any baby items from now until January 21, 2026. You can send these items to Medora's Family Resource Center. Donated items include baby food, formula, diapers, bottles, wipes, clothing,  shoes (preemie to 3T in boys and girls), baby toys, etc. Please make sure items are clean prior to donating them.
