KSA Make-Ups

There are some things you can do at home to make sure your child gets testing started off on the right foot.

Tips that will help your student prepare for testing each day include:

  • Sit out clothes the night before the test

  • Go to bed early each night before testing

  • Eat a healthy breakfast each morning

  • Wear comfortable clothing (bring a light jacket in case

     it’s cold in the building)

  • Arrive at school on time each day

Our school has been working with our students to show their best effort. Please reinforce these expectations at home:

  • Be present / on-time.

  • Be on-task.

  • Answer all questions - leave no blanks.

We ask during testing that you please refrain from setting doctor’s appointments or checking your student out if at all possible. It is best for our students to be able to test with their teacher and their peers. If students miss a test, they will be required to make it up, which could cause them to miss out on end-of-year activities.

Thank you for your support.
