We are excited to let you know that ALL students in grades 7 through 11 who are currently enrolled at Newcomer Academy (NCA) can return to NCA for the 2025-26 school year! We are looking forward to continuing our work with your child next year.
Our specialized programming includes:
English language development at all levels and support in classes for continued academic growth.
After-school enrichment and athletics
Transportation provided for all students
Campus-wide focus on welcoming and supporting multilingual students in their scholastic endeavors
Preparation for transition to future studies or careers after graduation from high school (including dual-credit courses)

Congratulations to three of our staff members who were selected to participate in the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Affairs - Global Louisville Leadership Academy. Anne Miller, Luis Suazo, and Nina Flores will participate in the program designed to empower international and foreign-born residents of our community. Thank you to these three for their leadership!
