Welcome Back to School! Dear Newcomer Academy Students and Families, the school year is getting ready to start!
Our staff is looking forward to welcoming our students and families back and making this a successful year of learning, growth, and opportunity.
📅 First Day of School: August 6 The school day is 7:30 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. Our building opens every morning at 7:00 a.m., and students are welcome to enter the building at that time.
🎉 Back-to-School Event — July 31 Please join us for our Back-to-School Event on July 31 from 12:00–2:00 p.m.

Important Information for the First Week As we prepare for the start of the school year, we kindly ask all families to have students arrive at their bus stops 20–30 minutes early during the first five or so days of school. Bus arrival times may fluctuate as drivers establish their routes and students become familiar with their schedules. You can follow your student's bus using My Ride K-12, which provides real-time updates on bus locations and estimated arrival times. Thank you for your patience and partnership as we work together to ensure a safe and successful start to the school year!
