Dr. Kaiser's 7th grade social studies students have been diving into the G.R.A.P.E.S. framework—Geography, Religion, Achievements, Politics, Economics, and Society—to explore what makes civilizations thrive and evolve. This foundational lens is helping students analyze the complexity of ancient societies, and in the coming weeks, they'll apply these concepts to civilizations that flourished between 600 and 1600 CE. From trade routes to belief systems, students are building the skills to think critically about the past and its impact on our world today.
