We are excited to welcome you to Family-Teacher Conference Day! Linked HERE, you will find lists of grade-level teams, Explore teachers, Key teachers, ECE teachers, and FELD teachers. Each team or teacher’s name is a link that will take you directly to a sign-up form where you can choose a timeslot.
Grade-level teams will meet with families together as a group, while Explore, Key, ECE, and FELD teachers will be available for individual conferences.
Before signing up, please make sure you know your student’s team name and the names of their Explore, Key, ECE, or FELD teachers. Each family is allowed one timeslot per team/teacher so that we can meet with as many families as possible.
Your partnership is a vital part of your student’s success, and we look forward to connecting with you! If you have any questions or run into any issues signing up, please reach out to your student’s grade-level counselor.

The volleyball tournament may affect the start date/location, but you can still be getting prepared.
All student-athletes must have a completed KHSAA/JCPS Sports Physical Packet in order to participate.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
More information will be coming soon. Be watching for dates, times, and locations posted here, on Crosby FB and during morning/afternoon announcements!

This is the last week to submit your Color Run donations and be eligible for some amazing prizes! We’ve got some of the best prizes yet this year, and we can’t wait to see which students step it up.
Every dollar makes a difference for our school, and every student has a chance to be a winner. All donations must be received by Friday, 9/12, to be counted.
Let’s make this week huge and finish strong. Let’s make this the biggest Color Run yet! 💪🔥

Hello Crosby Families,
Thanks to all of our students who participated in the Middletown Parade to represent Crosby this weekend. Shout out to the parents of our baseball, softball, and dance teams, along with several PTSA members!
We believe that rigor is not about piling on work—it’s about engaging students in deeper learning, critical thinking, and meaningful problem-solving. Our staff is working together to ensure that expectations are clear, consistent, and high across the board, because we know our students rise to the level of challenge we provide.
You can support this effort at home by encouraging your child to stay organized, ask questions, and give their best effort each day. When school and home partner together, students see the importance of their learning and grow even stronger.
Make sure and read over the PTSA slide for all addtional Color Run information and check out last year's video on our IG Page! Weekly Slide Deck Link - CLICK HERE

We are looking to get information on interest in a secondary location for Family-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, September 24. If there is enough interest, the secondary location will be at the Baxter Community Center (1125 West Liberty Street Louisville, KY 40203) from 4pm to 6pm. Please fill out the form below, so we can determine if there is enough interest in the secondary location. *This is just an interest survey to determine if there will be enough participation at a second location. We will still have our regularly scheduled conferences at Crosby, and we will still send out information about conferences soon.*

Come learn about this incredible opportunity (and get to know the teacher leading your students abroad!).
Hi families! We're excited to tell you more about the trip we're planning with EF Tours, our educational partner. Please register for our info session to be considered for our upcoming travel opportunity.
In our session, we'll cover everything from how this opportunity will benefit your child, what's included in the experience, how we'll keep the trip safe and affordable, and much more. Plus, if we haven't met yet, it's a good chance to learn more about me as both an educator and a Group Leader.
Registration for this session is mandatory to help organize our meeting, and a parent or guardian must attend. Can't make it? Choose "No, but send info" so you don't miss out.

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Labor Day weekend with your loved ones. As we move into September, our focus at Crosby is on maintaining steady routines for students each day. Consistency helps build comfort, confidence, and trust, which are essential for students to thrive both academically and socially.
Our staff is committed to supporting students in every space; whether in the classroom, during hallway transitions, or through collaborative planning in teacher teams. When teachers are absent, clear plans are left to ensure learning continues without pause. These consistent practices reflect our dedication to creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership in reinforcing routines at home as well. Together, we’re helping our students build the habits that lead to success at #ThePlaceToBe!

Crosby Cheer: Alternate Tryout information (see flyer)

Tomorrow and Wednesday, our students will be taking the MAP assessment, which provides us with valuable information about their growth and helps guide instruction throughout the year. Please help set them up for success by ensuring they get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time each day. Encourage your child to do their best, remind them that this is an opportunity to show what they’ve learned and how much they’ve grown since their Spring assessment. Thank you for your support in making testing a positive experience for our students!
