Last week, the seniors in our college cohort met with Dr. Candice Johnson with visionSPEAK Consulting to discuss the first steps in the college admissions process. She provided valuable information on completing the FAFSA, applying for scholarships, and preparing college applications. Students left the session feeling informed and excited to take the next steps toward life after high school. Thank you, Dr. Johnson!

This morning, GE Appliances Ambassadors visited Doss High School for a special multilingual panel with our ELD4 seniors. Students had the opportunity to hear directly from professionals in the manufacturing industry, learning how their multilingual skills and diverse backgrounds contributed to their personal and career success. The panel inspired our seniors to see the value of their own linguistic and cultural assets in today’s workforce. A huge thank you to GE Appliances and the ambassadors for sharing their time, insights, and encouragement!
