This message is to confirm our Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) expectations.
All students are expected to log in at 8:40 a.m. and follow our established NTI plan for the school day.
For students who are unable to access technology due to power outages or restricted device use, NTI choice boards may be used as an alternative.
• Choice Board 4 should be completed on Wednesday
• Choice Board 5 should be completed on Thursday
Please ensure students complete the appropriate work for the assigned day. If you have questions or need support, do not hesitate to reach out to the school.

While our crews report that most main roads are in good shape, many side streets and neighborhood roads across the county remain hazardous. Due to these lingering conditions and low temperatures, we believe transitioning to NTI is the safest choice for our students and staff.
Students should follow their school’s established NTI protocols. NTI days are recognized as standard instructional days and will not extend the school calendar.
All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for Wednesday and Thursday. If there are any changes to the YMCA CEP program, families will be notified by YMCA CEP.

As we monitor the weather over the weekend, there is a possibility that we may transition to NTI if conditions require it. At this time, please follow the same NTI plan and procedures we have used previously. (Link may be found below.)
If NTI is called:
Students with access to technology are expected to log in, check their learning platforms, and complete all assigned NTI work.
Students without access to technology will complete the choice board tasks provided by their teachers. These tasks count as attendance and instructional participation.
Staff should proceed with instruction, communication, and availability as outlined in our existing NTI plan.
Please continue to monitor official district and school communications for updates. Our priority is always the safety of our students and staff while ensuring continuity of learning.

Temperatures are expected to warm throughout the day so all after school athletic and extracurricular activities will go on as scheduled.
ONE WEEK | Reminder! The Application Period for the 2026–27 school year closes in one week. Families with incoming kindergarten, 6th, or 9th-grade students who live in the Choice Zone will need to select between their close-to-home or their far-away school options before next Friday’s deadline.
