Hartstern Elementary will be hosting a Vaccine Clinic on October 10th, 2025 for our Scholars! Vaccine consent forms have been sent home tlast week. Please complete the form and return it to school so your scholar(s) can receive their vaccines during the clinic. Let’s work together to keep our scholars healthy and safe!
Our newest group of student leaders was officially sworn in on Friday by officers from Jefferson County Public Schools Police. These dedicated students will help keep our school safe each day by assisting with arrival, dismissal, and modeling positive leadership throughout the building.
Congratulations to our Safety Patrol members—we look forward to an excellent year of service and leadership at Hartstern Elementary!

Hartstern Elementary Hispanic Heritage Month Parade Friday :
We are excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a school wide parade on Friday, September 26th from 3:00–3:30 PM! Families and students are invited to wear traditional cultural attire to honor and showcase the rich traditions of Hispanic and Latino heritage. We look forward to celebrating together with pride and joy! ❤️💛💚
🌟 You Matter Institute at Hartstern Elementary Tomorrow 🌟
Join us on tomorrow Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 6:00–7:30 PM for an interactive evening focused on mental health and self-care for both you and your scholar! Together, we’ll explore fun and relaxing activities designed to support wellness, confidence, and positive thinking.
Activities include:
✅ Breathing Exercises
✅ Vision Boards
✅ Affirmations
✅ Yoga
We can’t wait to see our families come together to celebrate the importance of mental health and remind everyone—You Matter! 💫
We’re excited to announce that choir club is beginning in October! Rehearsals for our 3rd–5th grade scholars will be held on Wednesday mornings from 8:30am–9:10am starting on October 15th!
Families can sign up using the QR code on the flyer, and paper sign-up sheets will also be coming home for your convenience.
We can’t wait to make music together! 🎵

Parents and Guardians, this is a reminder that Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place this Wednesday. If you have not yet scheduled a conference, please reach out directly to your scholar’s teacher to arrange a time. Parents/Teacher Conferences are optional.
Please note: There will be no school for scholars on Wednesday due to conferences.
