🧑🏾🎓👩🏻🎓Wondering when grading periods end or when grades will come home? Check out the official grading period sheet from JCTMS to stay on top of the schedule.

Good morning families and thank you for a great opening day yesterday. Please continue to be patient and follow the procedures of the car rider line to help make the process as smooth as possible. I have attached two maps to this communication...one is the overall map of how to enter the car rider line. We ask that you start on Barret traveling north to Debarr St, then to Edward and from Edward Make a left onto Morton. The front of the line will pull all the way up to dog park on Morton. All grade levels will form this line. Once the line gets moving, sixth grade parents will turn into the side parking lot (former bus loading dock at exit 15) and sixth grade students will exit from this door. If you are sixth grade parent that arrived early and are parked in the front of the school, those students will be notified to walk to the front of the building.
We ask that parents do not cut the procedure for the line by lining up on Christy Ave or Breckinridge St.
If you prefer not to wait in the car rider line, parents you can park on a side street and walk up to the school and provide staff with your car rider number and those students will be dismissed at 2:10. 6th grade parents you will walk up to an area outside of exit 15 on the side parking lot at Morton and Edward. 7/8th grade parents you will walk up to the front of the school. Staff members will begin collecting walk up numbers at 1:50. There will be a staff member at each area (front of the building for 7/8 and side of the building for 6)
Every student has been issued a new car rider number for the 25-26 school year. Students who ride together daily should have one number for the entire group. Group pickups will occur in the front of the school. If there is a sixth-grade student who rides in a group with 7th or 8th grade students, the group will be picked up in the front of the school not the side parking lot. Please display your car rider numbers for easy identification of your student. If you need more tags, please let the school know.
Students who walk to a local residence or ride the TARC need to be identified. If your student has a special circumstance, please email Ms. McKinney at kim.mckinney@jefferson.kyschools.us.

Hello Centurion Families! We are ready to welcome our students to the start of the 2025-2026 School Year! Please see the following instructions regarding AM car rider drop off and PM car rider pick up.
Please be patient with us as we work to keep car rider traffic flowing. The first few days of school the line will be backed up, we ask your patience as everyone gets used to the line and dismissal procedures.
In this email there are two maps for you to review. In the morning (SEE AM MAP) all students will be dropped off either on Morton (front of school) or on Edward (side parking lot side of school). Please follow the directions of staff outside working the lines. If you are directed to drop off on Morton, please pull down as far as the staff member directs you, this is important so we can exit as many students as possible from the car into the building. Students will enter the building through entry #1, front of the school or entry #15 side of the school.
In the afternoon, we ask that you follow this traffic pattern (SEE PM TRAFFIC FLOW) and follow the arrows from Barret to Debarr St to Edward St to Morton Ave. If you arrive early and are the front of the line please turn onto Morton and begin lining up in front of the dog park on Morton. The line will continue straight back. Staff members will begin collecting car rider numbers at 1:50.
If you prefer not to use the car rider line, you can park in the neighborhood and walk up to the front of the school to give a staff member your students car rider number. Your student will be dismissed once school is out. Students will not be released without a family member providing the car rider number to the staff member on duty in the afternoon. We will begin collecting these numbers at 1:50.
Please note, the first couple of days of school you will provide your student's name, car rider numbers will be given according to your student's sixth period class.
Parents please consider our neighbors as you wait to pick up your child. Please do not block intersections, driveways or cross walks. Again we ask for your patience these first few days as we work the "ins" and "outs" of our car rider line.
