I wanted to let everyone know that I will be offering free after school math help on Thursday afternoons starting next week on 10/16/25. Students will report to room #305 at the 2:20pm bell and will need to be picked up at the front entrance at 3:30pm. We will focus on the topic of the week that will be tested on Friday. The students will get extra practice and sometimes take the tests early.
To be eligible for the program the student should have a C or lower in math. We will be working, and students should come prepared to work. If a student makes poor choices concerning their behavior, they will get one warning then they will no longer be allowed to attend the program. Students can attend some weeks and skip the weeks they don't need extra help. Please email by Tuesday afternoon before the Thursday session if your child plans to stay. I need to know for the safety of your children and to make plans. This program was a huge success last year and I hope it will be this year as well. My email is: Paula.broyles@jefferson.kyschools.us
Thank you and have a great day,
Paula Broyles

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. On October 22, 2025, as a school family, we will celebrate Unity Day! This is a day when we can come together to send a visible message of building community through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. The call to action is simple: wear and share the color orange. This vibrant statement serves as a conversation starter, demonstrating support for students who have been bullied and advocating for bullying prevention. Our core goal is to shift society from accepting bullying to actively addressing it through education and support.
Unity Day is part of this initiative, aiming to promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
The date for Unity Day is Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
The action for Unity Day is to wear orange to show hope and support.
At JCTMS, students and staff are encouraged to wear orange items (like shirts, nail polish, socks, headbands, or shoelaces) with uniform bottoms.
If you would like to purchase A Unity Day T-shirt, it can be purchased at the provided link: https://stcroixprint.com/pacer_unity_day/shop/home

A huge thank you to Central High School for visiting us yesterday! 👋 It was awesome hearing about all the great programs you have to offer. Central is a fantastic option for JCTMS students! 🎓Yellow Jackets, you're welcome here! 🖤💛 @LouisvilleCHS

❤️💚🖤BSU application reminder! We require students to complete this on their own—parents are not able to fill it out. This is a key part of our effort to teach them independence and responsibility.
Anyone interested can email Carl Curtsinger, JCTMS Athletic Director at carl.curtsinger@jefferson.kyschools.us
