GOAL REACHED! 🎯🦃
It's been just over a month since the Charger Youth Service Center set a goal of 100 turkeys/small hams for our drive—and we are thrilled to report: WE DID IT! 👏👏👏
This massive success is a testament to the incredible support from our community partners:
⚡️Kyana Packaging Solutions (JTown)
⚡️Value Market (Outerloop Location)
⚡️Mt. Calvary Lodge #126
A huge shout-out to all the staff, and especially our student organizations—NHS, Beta Club, and MofQ—who packaged boxes! Our student leaders absolutely ROCK‼️
This was a total J Town HS team effort. These donations will be distributed throughout the Thanksgiving and Christmas season for those in need. Thank you for making a difference!

The Muscular System has SO many movable parts and brand-new vocabulary to master! 💪 Our Anatomy students tackled the challenge by creating intricate 3D models of the Myofibril. They were incredible Productive Collaborators and Effective Communicators while discussing how to assemble 10+ components! Brilliant work, scientists! 🧠

A major shout-out to Mrs. Fraser, our new Sparky Award recipient! 🎉 She's celebrated for her relentless commitment to adapting every lesson to fit her students' unique needs. Flexibility and commitment are keys to success! We appreciate you, Mrs. Fraser! 📚

Huge gratitude goes out to Alex and the team at Baptist Health for their incredibly generous donation of linens to our Health Science program! 🩺🛏️
These supplies make a massive difference, ensuring our students have the most realistic and high-quality environment possible for practicing essential patient care skills, from bed-making techniques to managing complex simulations.
Your commitment to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals is truly inspiring. Thank you for investing in our students' success!

Invisible gas? Not anymore! 🤩 Our BIO classes saw Cellular Respiration in full swing recently. The process produced CO2 💨, which inflated a balloon 🎈, and caused Bromothymol Blue to shift from dark blue 🔵 to green 🟢. A perfect, visual demonstration of how cells generate energy! Way to go, scientists! 🔬🧬

Larry the Lightningbolt made a surprise (and electric! ⚡) appearance at the Freshman Academy English classes Gallery Walk recently! He loved checking out the amazing student projects and helping them celebrate their hard work. We love seeing that Jtown spirit supporting academics! 📚
