All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for Wednesday. If there are any changes to the YMCA CEP program, families will be notified by YMCA CEP.

Thank you for being the heart of our school and for helping every student find their unique path! 🌟

Huge thanks to Sgt. Romero from the United States Marine Corps for visiting our English classes today! He spoke with students about how the communication and leadership skills they’re learning right now translate directly into elite career opportunities and massive scholarship potential. 💸📈
From specialized technical training to funding a college degree, Sgt. Romero showed our students that there are many paths to success after graduation. We love seeing our students explore every option for their future! ⚡️✨
Thank you to our JCPS school counselors for all you do!

As always, we encourage everyone to use caution and their best judgment when traveling to and from school.
We appreciate your continued support of our students and staff throughout JCPS.

DELAYED START| All JCPS schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, February 2, 2026. Early Childhood classes are canceled for the day. All after school athletic events and extracurricular activities remain as scheduled. There is no change to dismissal times.
A delayed start will allow students to be at bus stops and walking to school in the daylight.

These conditions have led us to utilize another Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day on Friday, January 30. Students should follow their school-specific NTI instructions. NTI days are recognized as standard instructional days and will not extend the school calendar.
All athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Note: Updates may take up to 24 hours to show up in the app.

We’ll share an update once the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

While our crews report that most main roads are in good shape, many side streets and neighborhood roads across the county remain hazardous. Due to these lingering conditions and low temperatures, we believe transitioning to NTI is the safest choice for our students and staff.
Students should follow their school’s established NTI protocols. NTI days are recognized as standard instructional days and will not extend the school calendar.
All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for Wednesday and Thursday. If there are any changes to the YMCA CEP program, families will be notified by YMCA CEP.
Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility as we navigate these winter conditions. Please stay warm and safe.
