Parent Update
What an incredible summer for Pahel Patel (Class of 2026)! 🔬 She completed an all-expense paid 8-week internship at the prestigious James Graham Brown Cancer Center in downtown Louisville. Pahel was one of just 20 high school students selected from elite schools to participate in groundbreaking research on "Crossing Barriers: Curcumin-Loaded Exosomes in Glioblastoma Therapy."

She mastered isolating molecules from turmeric, creating exosomes, and testing concentrations for cancer treatment. Her secondary project even explored IV and topical administration! Pictured here with her mentor, Raguram Kandimalla, Pahel is a truly gifted student. Join us in supporting her at the poster symposium on August 22nd at UofL!
