Wednesday, September 9 is High Attendance Day across JCPS, and we want to see our Bears show what Klondike can do when we all show up!
To celebrate, our cafeteria staff are planning a special Glow Party Lunch. The cafeteria will feature a glow-party atmosphere with neon colors, decorations, music, and other fun activities. Students are also invited to join the fun by wearing neon colors or glow-in-the-dark items to school.
Participation in the Glow Day theme and activities is completely optional. Students are welcome to participate, but there is no expectation to purchase or bring anything special. Students who choose not to participate will enjoy their regular school day.
While the glow theme makes the day fun, the real celebration is having our students present, learning, and connected to their school community.
Help us pack Klondike on September 9 and compete for one of the highest attendance percentages in the district!
✨ Be Here. Belong. Achieve.
🐾 Every Student. Every Classroom. Every Day.

We are sharing this information in advance in case your child comes home with questions and to provide families with an opportunity to have preliminary conversations before the drills.
