To finish out the week with a bang we had a few special visitors stop by Layne to educate our students on the back ground of their organizations and grace us with a nice performance. The students LOVED it! Shoutout to U of L's National Pan-Hellenic Council

We would like to thank Class Act for partnering with our school and teaching our 5th grade students about smart financing. Class Act supports Layne in so many ways and we are thankful to have them as a partner.

Wax Museum pt.2

Our 3rd and 5th grade students celebrated Black History Month, by participating in a live wax museum. The students worked hard on their poster boards and speeches.

This week we celebrated Black History Month by doing a Read-In, Monday- Wednesday. Here are a few pictures of our readers.
